Katherine Clark, CFP®Director of Advisor Consulting
What I do here:
I work side-by-side with advisors to help them best utilize First Ascent’s offering for their clients.
Why I love my job:
Financial planners and advisors deliver tremendous value to their clients, so I consider it a huge privilege to support them in their endeavors. The relationships I have built – with my colleagues at First Ascent, with the people I serve, with our partners – are what I love most about my job.
I started my career in financial services over a decade ago at a bank in Austin, Texas. Connections there led me to Manhattan where I worked for a broker-dealer. I eventually found myself back in school, attaining an MBA. From there, I worked for a boutique asset manager and an independent RIA until First Ascent welcomed me as a transplant to Denver in early 2017.

Where I come from:
Born and raised Texan, I hail from Austin, loved calling Denver home for a few years, and now live back in Austin.
A Little Personal:
My awesome husband Justin and I love exploring different parts of the country. Our favorite way to do that is camping with our fun-loving Airedale Terrier, Lucy. We also enjoy picking up new hobbies and spending time with extended family.
